We were told to look into sub genres as part of our research and planning. This mind map shows some thriller hybrids and their conventions. I then looked up some films that came under the sub-genres I researched, most of which I have seen. This task will help me with the planning of my product as I can now choose if I want to make my product into a sub-genre or just a straight thriller. The conventions of these sub-genres can help lead my narrative and plot, and the fact I have watched most of the examples I have included helps as I can see how the conventions have been but into real products.
