Following the task of reading The Inner Workings, I now have to analyse three title sequences myself. One will be SE7EN's title sequence, a psychological thriller. The other two I can choose myself, however one I have to like and one will be one I dislike.
For these posts I will use a '9 frame analysis' as it will allow me to analyse most of the title sequence as well as picking out specific aspects in a shot and what it suggests.
This task will help me with the construction of my own product as....
1. I can use ideas and develop them
2. I will know what makes a successful title sequence
4. I will be able to see conventions of title sequences
